Welcome to the new home of PSW Canada (2007):

PSW Canada (2007) and The Ontario Personal Support Worker Association (OPSWA) have united to create a stronger entity advocating for the rights of Personal Support Workers in Ontario, as well as the rights of the individuals they care for.
 

Through this alliance, PSW Canada (2007) and OPSWA will push for changes in the current Health Care system, demanding a greater standard of working conditions for PSWs, and improvements to the quality of living conditions for residents in long term care.

PSW Canada (2007) and OPSWA are run by PSWs for PSWs. 

We have seen first-hand the issues afflicting Personal Support Workers in their jobs and we are determined to minimize or eliminate those issues.
 

But we can’t do it alone. We need you, the Personal Support Workers of Ontario, to show the public and the policy makers that PSWs are a vital part of the Health Care team.
 

Together we will make a difference!
